Jim White
Jim is a litigator who brings high-impact cases; cases involving fraud and unfair trade practices, copyright infringement and lender liability and real property claims. He has brought class action, mass tort, and wrongful death claims. He has extensive experience litigating before both juries and judges, and regularly appears in federal, state and bankruptcy courts.
He has successfully obtained six and seven figure verdicts and settlements from banks, large financial institutions and other corporations in “David v. Goliath” cases. You can read about some of them here.
He has also handled appeals of cases before North Carolina’s Court of Appeals and Supreme Court, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
Jim represents businesses in Subchapter V bankruptcies and is a board certified specialist in business bankruptcy law. He serves as a Bankruptcy Trustee in small business cases in the Middle District of North Carolina, and is also a NCDRC Certified Mediator focused on mediating bankruptcy and financial litigation cases. Before forming JC White Law Group, he was an attorney at one of the state’s largest law firms handling business litigation and bankruptcy.
