ROANOKE RAPIDS, N.C. — A Halifax County repair shop that’s already been the subject of a 5 On Your Side investigation is now being sued by 21 customers for more than $1.2 million.

In November, 5 On Your Side told you Pomp Boys Motors was accused of exploiting customers. Since then, we’ve received multiple new complaints about the business and learned about two lawsuits filed against them.

“I mean, here there’s a pretty clear pattern of abuse,” said Attorney Jim White. White and Attorney Frank Jones filed the lawsuit on behalf of the 21 customers earlier this month.
