Shilanka I. Ware worked in the financial securities industry where she assisted both individual and corporate clients with financial and estate planning. Feeling that she could better serve these clients as an attorney, she quit her full-time job and decided to go back to law school.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude both undergraduate at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and in law school at North Carolina Central University.

Shilanka was born in Poughkeepsie, NY and migrated to Hillsborough, North Carolina over 20 years ago.  Her personal philosophy in practicing law is simple, treat people the way you would want to be treated. Her clients are the cornerstone of my practice and the reason she decided to pursue a legal career, as such she makes sure to treat each and every client with the upmost respect and appreciation.  She focuses on building strong relationships with hers client.

She has 3 daughters, who keep her and her husband super busy, with everything from dance to basketball. In her free time, she loves to travel.
