Before joining J.C. White Law Group, Silas was a law clerk for Justice Anita Earls of the North Carolina Supreme Court and a post-graduate intern for Chief Judge Donna S. Stroud of the North Carolina Court of Appeals. While in law school, he was a judicial extern for Chief Judge D.P. Marshall, Jr. of the Eastern District of Arkansas and spent a summer with the Commercial Litigation Team at Friday, Eldredge & Clark in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Silas graduated from Notre Dame Law School, where he was a member of the Moot Court Trial Team and a graduate assistant at the Klau Center for Human Rights. Silas earned his B.A. in Religion with Honors from Haverford College and an M.T.S. from Harvard Divinity School. Between college and graduate school, Silas lived in Germany for a year and worked as an auxiliary teacher at an elementary school in Arkansas. He is admitted to practice law in North Carolina and the District of Columbia.


A German speaker, Silas enjoys watching soccer, Notre Dame Football, and spending time with his wife.
